While your getting all excited about actually seeing a team you’ve only read about, you turn around and are stunned when you see a beautiful blue and gold F-14 taxi by in Blue Angel markings and you think to yourself what a cool place, but wait, did the Blues ever fly the F-14?

Your finally given clearance to taxi and park at the transit ramp. Rolling along behind the follow-me vehicle you are directed to a parking spot by the transit hanger, and you see other hangers with strange names like the Hypothetical Hanger, the RC Hanger and the Special Review Hanger. As you and your RIO climb out of your F-4 (being careful not to scratch the finish you worked so hard on) your greeted by a ground crewman who tells you that your ride to base operations will be along any minute. He tells you to enjoy your stay and suggest you later meet some of the other modeler/pilots who are over having drinks at the world famous Grande Brass Ones Tiki lounge at the BOQ.

After arriving at base operations, one of Macho Grandes lovely administration ladies determines what your plans are while visiting Macho Grande. First she asks if you’re here on business for a photo mission in order to obtain in-flight and ramp photographs of your F-4 . (See services at American Flight Visions) and if so your directed to the American Flight Visions hanger. If your visiting to have your model parked on the Special Visitors Ramp, then your automatically entered in the Visitors Gallery wherein different visiting aircraft are presented along with a review by the pilot/moderler which will be kept on file for others to access in the future. It is also explained that when your model aircraft is chosen for the Special Monthly Review, you also receive a free photo mission photograph and a free Macho Grande NAS patch.
